Cardmaking and crafts

My main craft love is cardmaking however there will be bits and bobs scattered around that are non-cardmaking, maybe a bit of baking, embroidery, knitting - whatever takes my fancy on the day

OMG I cant believe its been so long

Wow, the last year has gone so quick, I can't believe I haven't posted anything since February!

I am entering the Indigo Blu challenge over at http://indigoblublogchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/
The challenge theme is to use your favourite indigo blu stamp of the year.

I can hand on heart say that my favourite indigo blu stamp this year has been sleeping George.  I think he is so cute and versatile.  I have come up with an 8X8 card which I have created a background using the square peg round hole stamp and a large anemone corner stamp.  I used a mixture of brown distress ink (sorry I can't remember the shade) and a gold inkpad.  Sleeping George is stamped and coloured using flesh colour alcohol markers and then die cut using a spellbinder gold die.  I did make a mistake on the card and had to put a butterfly on the front to disguise a splodge of ink.

I'm sorry the image is the wrong way around - I have been trying to rotate it for half an hour and am about to throw my new laptop through the window so I will try to pop back on tomorrow night to turn it around!
